Wereld Vluchtelingen Dag

The World Refugee Day was adopted by a resolution from the UN General Assembly, and is held annually on June 20. It is aimed at raising awareness for refugees, and the – often deplorable – situations they live in in refugee camps.

Each year, UNHCR selects a campaign to illustrate the activities concerning World Refugee Day. This year it is ‘Dilemma’ to depict some of the tough choices facing refugees, helping the public to empathize with, and understand, their dilemma.
